Reminder: Security Certificate Transition

On the 23rd February we announced that we would be transitioning to a new security certificate ahead of the expiry of the old one, and also to upgrade from the deprecated SHA1 scheme.

At this time we strongly recommended that all devices which did not use a common certificate trust store (such as in a desktop web browser) must be updated to include the new certificates.

As of today, the end of support for the old certificates will occur on the 31th of July 2018, 8AM UTC. After this time, devices that connect using only the old security certificate may fail to connect successfully, and will require the new certificates to resume correct operation. In order for this transition to happen without disconnection all devices must embed two public certificates as specified on our security page.

As usual, if you have questions or concerns around this change please do not hesitate to contact us.
