New Time Endpoint

As you probably have read we are phasing out our support for non-TLS APIs and forcing TLS 1.1+ for all communication with the EVRYTHNG platform. This is part of our continuous improvements to ensure that we keep your Thngs secure!

However, some embedded devices without an on-board clock need a way to get the current time to boostrap a TLS connection and use validate certificates. To this aim we offered a /time endpoint that we have now moved from http://api.evrythng.com/time to http://time.evrythng.com/time. This will be the only non HTTPS endpoint we support (so far).

The old /time endpoint will be deprecated on November 27 2017. More information on this endpoint can be found in our documentation.
